The bronze statue of the fisherman's wife represents "Mother Flint" (1861-1952). She owned a fishmonger's and also had a stall selling fish at the Stade fish market...

IMMORTALISEE POUR TOUJOURS... La statue en bronze de la femme du pêcheur représente "Mère Flint" (1861-1952), elle avait une poissonnerie et en plus un stand de vente sur le marché aux poissons de Stade.

FÜR IMMER VEREWIGT... Die Bronzestatue der Fischersfrau stellt "Mutter Flint" (1861-1952) dar, sie hatte ein Fischgeschäft und zusätzlich einen Verkaufsstand auf dem Stader Fischmarkt.

Danke Wilhelm, ich vermute, damals gab es viele Katzen um diese Fischstände. Deshalb finde ich es toll, dass man nicht nur die Fischerin mit dieser Statue verewigt hat, sondern auch die Katze.
