The Dijeaux Gate
The Dijeaux Gate was a Roman entrance to the west of Bordeaux and was the first line of fortifications.
The current monument, built between 1748 and 1753, consists of Frontenac stone, a very hard and dense stone, it has been listed since 1921.

Dieses Dijeaux-Tor wurde vor über 350 Jahren erbaut und sieht dennoch fast brandneu aus. Ich frage mich, wie viele Konstruktionen von heute so lange dauern werden !!
