Cycling from Bordeaux Vineyards to the Atlantic Coast /Bordeaux

In 2005, works by the Czech sculptor Ivan Theimer were inaugurated: a spiral obelisk 16 meters high, weighing more than 50 tons, made of six blocks of red Languedoc marble and bronze. The pavement of the square is modelled on the Capitol Square in Rome.
