The bridge should be passable by cruise ships to reach the old town of Bordeaux, therefore with a clear height of 53 meters built as a lift bridge. This makes it one of the largest lifting bridges in the world.

Wow, diese Brücke ist mit diesen vier Türmen sicherlich sehr beeindruckend. Ich gehe davon aus, dass sich der hebende Teil der Brücke zwischen diesen Türmen befindet.
