A Twofer: Rumpled and Siblings

A Twofer: Rumpled and Siblings
Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park weekly theme of: RUMPLED OR WRINKLED
(September (23 - September 29, 2025)
and also the monthly theme of:
AN ASSORTMENT OF SIBLINGS – BROTHERS AND SISTERS TOGETHER
This comically unattractive photo shows my brother and I taken on a caravan holiday in Dovercourt, England, 1957. I’m 3 and my brother is about 15 months.

RicksPics, raingirl, kiiti, William Sutherland and 3 other people have particularly liked this photo

Well, that’s one word for our faces!

Appropriately holiday-rumpled. I also appreciate the contrasting facial expressions. You seem to be a bit embarrassed at having to pose, while Nicholas appears to be fully engaged in vacation relaxation.

I love the word; "gormless". I had never seen it before your use some time ago. It has a kind of onomatopoeia quality for me. Ever since, I try not to go out without a bit of gorm on my person. ;)
