What’s Going On?

Poor fellow is pouting because his chair was taken when he went to get a drink and now he's sitting on the floor as an act of protest. I love everything about this photo; the ladies' hair style and clothing especially, but the mens' starched shirts and French cuffs as well. This must be early '60s. Is that your dad on the floor and your mother next to him with an expression of mild aggravation ?

haha. Good one, Rick! This was a modified game of Charades where the “grown-ups” were all given an emotion to act out and (I think) the kids were the judges of who won what round.
This one was “Thoughtful” and of course, my Dad is the extreme emoter - helped by a glass of brandy and a couple of beers!

Wow! What a clever way to engage the kids and adults in a game. I'll bet it was a lot of laughs.
