Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: SHOES
(November 11 - November 16, 2025)
Proud parents of a scowling boy sitting on, presumably, their front porch step and showcasing all their shoes in a row.
From the collection of a library patron who allowed me to scan a box of his family photos and postcards, nearly all of them from Vermont.
Cropped to show details; the original is below.

What a gift for them to let you scan their images.
The man who gave me these to scan has passed away now, but he had the most amazing personal collection of things I’ve ever seen. (A huge room full of vacuum cleaners dating from the beginning of their existence, for example.)
He owned an old barn and many, many outbuildings that were incredibly full - but set up like a series of wonderfully set up museums.
He was an amazing character.
