At first glance, I thought this was Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, which also requires a trek across a causeway. I was unaware of this one.

Rick, I remember hearing (although Wiki doesn’t mention it much) that there are historically - and mythically - many ancient ties between the two castles/monasteries.
