Ferdinand-Fortuné Mirapelli (1827-1889); French tenor.
He served as a soldier in Avignon when the director of the local theater was looking urgently for a tenor. He was made aware on Mirapelli and in 1850 Mirapelli debuted with great success at the Theatre of Avignon. He began a career on the stage and sang at the opera houses of Marseille, Bordeaux, Brussels and Naples. Later in his career he also appeared in the USA.
