Gotcha'... Herb'.. // again, I always think back to the time when this old building would have seen occupants - or perhaps just a farmers retreat, and what kind of life they would have lived.. I would think the original roof has long ago collapsed and been replaced by the material seen here...// Dj.

My goodness David, I am just finding out how many comments i have missed over the last week or so, even though I look every day - or at least I think I do.

I think this was once a fishermans cottage but as you summise it was full of old fishing supplies when I tried to peek into the windows. The plaque in the wall mentions it is part of the historical Scotland heritage trail ?? (lens not quite good enough from here to read it perfectly).

Keep good. Herb

A lovely old building.........I like the colour and shapes in the stonework and the battered wooden door. It looks in reasonably condition and someones gone to the trouble to repair the roof in the not-to-distant past. Maybe it's used as storage?

Nicely captured under a dramatic sky Herb.
