Towards Achmelvich Bay

Towards Achmelvich Bay
As we take a walk above and away from the beautiful Achmelvich Bay we get views like this. The sandy bay can just about be seen. (see Pip) These are typical Highland homes but many nowadays are occupied by folk like us, ie holiday makers.
We are looking south here.

Two beautiful views, Herb. I love the point of view in the PIP that looks straight at the coming wave. I imagine the water is cold there even in summer but the gentle waves and lovely blue are so inviting!

Thanks for this. yes the seas around Scotland are not warm -ever. But in the heat of our Summer it is warm enough to swim in the shallow sandy bays.

A cracking view Herb...............and beautifully composed. The white houses in the foreground look wonderful as does the green and brown colours of the surrounding landscape.

Yes, the real Scotland here Rosa (or is this the false tourist only Scotland?) Though cloudy most of the time it all amounted to good photographic weather. Glad you liked them both.

My kind of landscape Herb. Stunning views that even the darkening clouds cannot hide.
I love the PiP, - white sands and blue blue sea - you could be almost anywhere in the world. Beautifully captured. I would like to be there now!
