Thanks so much for another visit to yet another of my photos of your homeland. This was indeed a fantastic location. I wonder if you know it well too. We stayed for a week at Stonehaven just south of here by about 10 miles.

You are so lucky to be able to visit all these magical places. An extended visit to England and Scotland is on my bucket list, but "extended" won't get me to all the locations I'd love to see -- that would take several months.

Hi Sarah, great to see you here. In many ways, Britain is by no means the best country to live in but without a doubt our countryside is varied in nature and our cities, towns and villages abound with historic interest. As well as that, most of the population is really quite friendly to strangers. Living near Manchester I am near modern urban area's but within two hours drive I am by the sea or wonderful wild countryside. In fact i have the countryside on my doorstep only a walk away. - As you say, I have been exploring Britain now for 50+ year and have not done it all. An extended stay to really explore from you would take years or at least a few months as you say. It would take me even longer to explore your US landscapes and cities though. Thanks for your visit and interest my friend.
