I think that possibly keeping water between you and your subject is just a tad OTT ~ but then better safe than sorry x

It looks very inviting across the water! You are lucky the park is still open.

The park is large, at least 200 acres (80 hectares) in size, so it's easy to avoid people. At present the National Trust is keeping all its parks open but of course the buildings are closed, as are the tea rooms unfortunately.

Pity about the tea rooms but that is sadly unavoidable.

The National trust has issued the latest news: We’ve taken the decision to close our parks and gardens to restrict the spread of coronavirus.
This is a bit of a blow really, but apparently some people were treating the 'lockdown' as a holiday and gathering in numbers in certain areas. Because of this I feel this is now a very sensible move by the NT.

We visited a NT property today............and took a flask of hot drink and a picnic. There were some people around, but everyone seemed to be following the social distancing rules.

Yes, we found that the few people who were here were following the rules, but in some areas that wasn't the case. I think the NT has made the correct decision.

I couldn't agree more Amelia...............the sooner EVERYONE starts taking this virus seriously, the better!

Shocking scenes at local Tesco's, in Snowdonia, the Brecon Beacons and British coastal resorts. This is just so worrying. We went out early today for a good walk, and saw 2 joggers, 2 dog walkers and canoeist in 5 miles. I'm not saying where we were - it might cause hordes to descend.

What you wrote about closing parks (and shops may be too) might happen here too. Too many people happen to be at the same time in parks, are going to DIY shops and gardening centres, like it is going on a day out.

Beautiful capture! I had to have a double take on this as it reminded me of a shot I took a few weeks ago when we were moving the boat. Similar but different. Gorgeous.
