Aston Lock 3

When we were here 10 days ago, the whole site was fenced off, and the workmen were busy. It wasn't obvious what they had done though. The wetlands behind this scene accommodate excess run-off water from the canal.

I think it probably is, Gudrun. We were hoping to see a kingfisher on that day, but were sadly disappointed.

BTW, your buddy icon isn't working. There have been a few glitches on Ipernity today.

Thank you, Rosa. I fear that folks are getting a bit fed up with my canal shots now, but there is also a distinct lack of uploading in Ipernity at the moment. Folks are worried about what the outcome of the survey will be I think.
