The difference between high and low tide is quite striking, that's what I like about the North Sea:-)
Nice splash of colour with the boats!

In the south west of Norway which is facing the North Sea, there is very little tidal change, Gudrun. It amounts to about 50cms. I have often wondered about this, and guess it's to do with the fact that there are many inlets / fjords in the area.
