A winter's day in deep and (not) dark December

Looks like a lovely walk beside this river even in December.
And I see that it's your birthday today so many happy returns.

I agree that 500px is mainly for photographers who want to sell pictures and I'm not greatly enamoured of 23hq either. I'm not that keen on Flickr but, at the moment, it seems the likliest alternative to Ipernity. The best solution would be for Ipernity to continue but we shall have to wait and see.

Happy birthday, Amelia, and thanks for the kind comments about my blog. This is beautiful and a place I've not seen though I've been in Llangollen several times and can almost say the name.

Many happy returns, Amelia! A great combined birthday and Christmas present would of course be the rescue of ipernity from oblivion! We can still hope.
