Bangkok Stonehenge
These pylons that were constructed for a projected second stage of the city highway have sarcastically been named 'Bangkok Stonehenge'. A typical example of high-grade corruption. The officers who commissioned building these (about 1,200) pillars filled his pocket with money secretly paid by the civil engineering companies.
Now the pillars are built, but the planned highway construction has been cancelled. The same officers will get paid again to their private pockets to commisision the pillars' demolition.
