Searching online I found this with a similar photo to yours: "This colossal monster called Titan was the crane used in the construction of the Port of Leixões at the end of the 19th century is once again part of the landscape of Matosinhos. Twelve years after being dismantled, it was rebuilt to open its doors to the public for the first time."

Ja, ich frage mich auch, welche Funktion dieses wohl Bauwerk hat. Jedenfalls ein gutes Fotomotiv. HFF Ulrich.

Ich dachte schon, es gäbe nie mehr Regen.
Das ist wahrscheinlich ein drehbarer Kran, auf dessen Ausleger eine Art Flaschenzug ausfahrbar ist, um Lasten zu heben.

Muy buena, podría ser para transportar pesos. Aquí tuvimos una construida ex profeso para transportar grandes bloques de hormigón y depositarlos junto a la barra del puerto, para protección... y se trasladaba por carriles de hierro a lo largo de todo el espigón. HFF Ulrich
