More and more in India the lettering in English is for the local tourists.....it is the biggest English speaking nation ...and this area is totally off the foreign tourist circuit. English is a unifying language in Inda where many people speak their own language eg Gujarati or Bengali, and do not necessarily speak Hindi. And travelling Indians are in huge numbers everywhere nowadays.... ;-)
