Apparently the original Monopoly was never trademarked--which has led to all the knock-offs!

There is a Shrewsbury Monopoly game. I haven't yet seen what areas of the town replace Mayfair and Park Lane. ;-)

The local versions are fun! In my student times there was an Antifa version called Provopoly with occupied houses, demonstrations and the like;-)
