Visiting a Bergy Bit

Visiting a Bergy Bit
During a cruise around tabular icebergs in zodiacs (see note) we found a 'bergy bit', the term for a large portion of broken iceberg - maybe the size of several houses. Smaller portions are called 'growlers'. This bergy bit had a little icy 'bay' and underlying ice shelf, which helped bring out the green colouring.

Thank you very much, everyone, for your kind comments and faves. By way of added background, we actually took the zodiac into the little 'bay' but, although it was a great experience, at that stage everything was too close for a useful photograph. :)
