A few years ago we had a tame blackbird over the period of two to three years. He always ate his food on the terrace. If we were not in time, he knocked with his beak on the glass pane of the terrace door.
We gave him the name ' Hansi ' and he came to us by calling the name or on a certain whistle...

Superb shot here. I was lucky enough to have a pair of blackbirds nesting outside my living room window last year, and see the first flight of the young, but this picture is so much more meaningful than the ones got...
