Thank you Amaz =) There's plenty of oxymoron on that "half empty glass" phrase already, but I wanted to "play" some more =D I even tried to turn the milk black, but it didn't quite work with this light.

I tried that, but because of surroundings and half shadow on glass, it didn't turned out as I wished. Different light may have worked for it. More practice needed =)

That's the beauty of all these challenges - it really helps you learn different techniques!

Thank you very much Christine =) I used so called Sabattier effect (solarisation). The fun part of it is how different results one can get with different ways to use 'curves' tool.

After some trial and error, I also managed to turn that milk black =D

Great shot! I love the texture of the wall to the right. One great touch that nobody seems to have caught is your horizon line. The level of the milk is in the center of the picture and it is a great divider.

Thank you very much Kenneth =) Every now and then I use this oval shaped kitchen table for settings. And chose the level of angle especially for the reason you mentioned, to divide the shot to emphasize also the "half full/empty".

Seems to be some magic number of responses over a short period of time that gets them in Explore and something similar keeps them there. The trick is keeping the image in Explore ... some will continue to get responses and stay for days and others ... only a few hours.

Yes, that must be how it is done. In that case, quite active group of good photographers this seem to be =)
