Lovely and interesting images Rosa, I don't remember the wave sculpture, so I assume it is fairly new and the shingle on the steep beach has always been difficult walking.

These beach access mats ("Tuff-Trac platforms") : what a wonderful idea!!!!!
The sculpture perfectly depicts the movement of the wave: another wonderful idea!!!!
Devon has probably no oil wells but good ideas are also very good fuel!!!!!!

The mats are a very good idea Nouchet. Shingle can be very difficult for a lot of people, to walk on. I am pleased you also like the wave....there are two of them, but this shot turned out the best! Well, they haven't found oil....yet!! ;-) Thanks for your kind comments.

Such a beautiful structure..........and perfectly sited on the seashore I think. It looks splendid in the sunshine.

A lovely photo in the PiP as well...........espcially with those fantastic cliffs in the background. It's also good to see that access to the beach has been catered for as well, I've never seen that sort of thing before, it's great idea.

We went out for a few hours today............just a drive in the countryside, but it was far too hot. The AC in the car packed up as well, which made it worse! I think it just needs re-gassing!

There was a wave either side of the opening Keith, but my shot of them wasn't very good. I am pleased you like both images. It was good to see people make use of the easier access. The town was quite quiet surprisingly.

Oh what a nuisance, your AC packing up! I expect you went back to the old way of opening the windows ;-) I don't like it so hot, but I have sat in the shade in the garden. I keep thinking of those poor families affected by the Nottingham tragedy.

Me gusta la foto del monumento porque está bien encuadrada; el monumento en sí, con la cresta, curvatura y burbujas de la ola es sencillo pero excelente. También está nítido el horizonte marino. Buena solución para salvar la playa de guijarros y hermosos acantilados.

Those platforms are an act of great civilization because they allow everyone access to that pebble beach. I like that curious sculpture in the first image.

Yes that's a very good idea, Rosa. I'm surprised that more hasn't been done for wheelchair users before now. Lovely wave sculpture too.
