Well, I'm trying to catch up, I returned from Northern Germany yesterday. And now you're away again, Rosa... :-) Or perhaps it's just your internet that's on vacation? ;-))

I hope you had a good holiday Edna. My message about the internet was confusing, so I have changed the wording now. I lost connection on Sunday, then had to wait for a new router, but the people at Plusnet were very helpful and patient with me ;-))

Oh yes, I sure did. We went hiking every day and we also visited Han(n)over and some smaler picturesque places :-) My friend lives near Hannover in the countryside and luckily the weather wasn't quite as hot as in Southern Germany.

OK, Rosa, now I understand what had happened. it can be annoying but I'm happy to hear the people at Plusnet were so helpful. So I hope your internet connection is up and running again without any problems :-)

Thank you Edna. First of all computer problems and now I haven't been well for a couple of days. On the mend now, I hope. I'll have to catch up yet again ;-)

Have you been back for more cruffins Rosa? It looks nice now the canopy of trees has grown and gives some shelter. It has been so hot that you probably needed it.

The chicken is a beauty, - and looks well fed so probably gets lots of scraps here.

The cruffins were very tempting Carol, but this time I tried their very sticky apple and cinnamon whirls, and they were delicious! I won't know which to choose next time ;-))

The tree canopy looks beautiful and I love the vibrant green of the leaves. A charming shot Rosa.

Nearly forgot..........the chicken in the PiP is very splendid........and knows exactly where to get an easy meal from!
