I wonder why that is Peter? Any clues? These are beneath the computer room window, which is in shade for most of the day and they didn't stop flowering last year until now...they still look good now. I am indeed enjoying the sunshine. I hope you are too Peter.

Beautiful close up. So detailed. I've had hellebores for years but they've never done much and only a lentan rose reluctantly flowered. We've had a couple of very wet winters and this year the lentan rose has gone mad and the Christmas rose which I thought had vanished has reappeared. I've even got a pink hybrid.
