Same for me Rosa and the othe thing that has failed fo function for ages is the automatic spell checker, which for me being dyslexic was a life saver.

I find it a nuisance as the emails are the best way to keep up with comments, especially if they are on older photos. I can see the lack of spellchecker would cause you problems. Even if not dyslexic, it comes in very handy, although I seem to have the American spellings!

A great find Rosa.................and a lovely detailed image. I wish I could get a look inside, some of these converted chapels are really beautiful, especially if the owners have kept a lot of the original features.

I didn't know you could get a daily email...........I normally just open the "News" tab and then click on "your space" to find out what's been happening on my photo-stream :-)

Thank you Keith. They are quite lucky with this chapel as it has a garden at the back and a small building which was once a school. I would love to see inside too. Will have to wait and see if it is ever for sale on Rightmove :-)

I couldn't see what it was in the middle window until I zoomed in on the camera!

You can get, or could get, the daily emails if you look under settings and then notifications. I find them easier to follow than on the news tab, but that's what I'll have to get used to now I guess.

It's a lovely building and good that it has been saved. Quite a few churches round here have been converted into dwellings. There's one in Falkland. Rather that than have them fall into ruin.

I remember seeing it when it was for sale and looked it up online. It certainly needed a lot of work inside, but done properly, would make an impressive home. Thank you for your kind comments.

Por mi parte dejé de comentar fotos atrasadas porque pensé que no la vería el fotógrafo.

Thank you Jose Manuel. The daily emails showed comments made and replies to comments in a very concise and easy to read way. I will miss them if they do not return. It showed comments on any of the pictures in my gallery.

Rosa, otra cosa que en Ipernity no actúa para las subidas de fotos es la opción “Buscar en el ordenador” Antiguamente lo hacía desde Picasa, luego con la opción entrecomillada y ahora las tres fotos he tenido que compartirlas arrastrando la imagen al recuadro de subidas.

That is strange. I wonder if it is something to do with the your operating system? A few others have had the same problem. It works well for me. It seems there are still many technical problems in Ipernity.

Nice shot Rosa, great light and perspective. We have a similar chapel in the village only not in such a good setting. Our chapel has been empty for years but is in pretty good condition inside and out. Unfortunately it has no garden or anywhere to park otherwise I'm sure it would also be a home. As far as I know, unlike this one, it is not occupied!

Thank you Doug. Yes this one is positioned very well and has parking and garden at the back. I remember thinking, when I saw it for sale, that it could be a money pit. I am pleased someone took it on though. I once made Roman blinds for a conversion very similar to this, and they had done a beautiful job on the conversion.

It is nice to see old building converted / re-purposed into something else. It must be great to design the interior of such a thing... All the headroom, and different floors you could add!

A lovely old building and an interesting find in the window! I didn't know of the daily emails either. A day or so ago I found another "glitch" in the system when I tried to upload a better image for one of my old shots being updated - the system would load the replacement image, but only as a new posting - it would not link to or replace the previous image. I exchanged a few emails and see that the IMA have now acknowledged the problem. At least uploads are now possible and this seems minor in comparison.

Yes George, there do still seem to be a few glitches. I would like to get the daily emails back, as I found them the best way of keeping up with comments and replies. Much simpler to look directly from your emails. I haven't mentioned it to the team....maybe I should! At least the site seems safe for the time being. I don't think I would go back to Flickr. I really did not like the site.

I haven't been getting any mail notifications for quite a while now but then I have a gmx-eMail-address which obviously is giving special trouble. I don't mind about not getting (in my case weekly) news notifications but I miss the mail when I get a PM.
