The light in the woodland shot is beautiful. The sunlight leads they eye in and the light coming through the leaves is lovely. Two great PiP's as well. A typical robin pose. They are so cute and I like the butterfly and it's shadow.

Magical light in this woodland shot Rosa. Love the PiP of the robin. I did get a shot of one on a bench at Halsway Manor yesterday but it was too far away to be clear and sharp like this. I tried to get closer but he flew off. Love the light giving the butterfly its own spotlight on the leaf!

A good forest to return to when the leaves turn to their autumn colours.

Wow! Your main image is stunning Rosa.............I love the light coming through the canopy and the shapes of the tree trunks and branches.

I love the butterfly image too. The detail is superb and it's beautifully lit against the background. I think it's a Speckled Wood.

Finally - the little Robin............just delightful.

Thank you for the wow Keith....always appreciated. I haven't had much luck with butterflies this year, so this was probably my last chance. Yes I thought it was a Speckled wood...had a look on the biscuit tin!! Well, what can we say about robins! They are beautiful and very cheeky!

Das ist ja schön,wenn ich so Waldaufnahmen sehen,da fühlt man sich gleich wohl liebe Rosa,schön hast du diese Lichtstimmung im Wald festgehalten,auch das Rotkelchen hat auf dich für eine schöne Aufnahme gewartet und den Schmetterling konntest du mit dem schönen Licht toll fotografieren :))
