We have never visited but it's another one for our ever growing list, many of them because of you superb photo's.

Thank you Roger. When they are back to normal it is advisable to book, but well worth it. There is a brilliant farm shop next to it called The Trading Post.

It is fun when you can sit in the train carriage or bus. Odd really, but I suppose it makes us feel nostalgic :-))

It is just the train carriages and a double decker bus Nouchet. A very unusual place, but great food. At the moment they can only serve outside, so we wanted to support them and make sure they stay in business.

What a beautifully painted and clever mural..........it's almost indistinguishable from the real railway carriages and seating.

A cracking series as well Rosa.............with beautiful detail and colours. I'm glad you enjoyed your coffee and cake - and judging by the PiP they didn't last long!

Ha ha, no they didn't last long and you should have seen Sophie's hot chocolate with a mountain of cream and marshmallows! A good job her mum wasn't there!!

A weekend at home here as well Keith. Taking Sophie out next Tuesday for the last time before school starts again. Sounds like it's going to be a windy week!

A fun place for a cake and coffee, I'm with you for the toffee apple cake ( I made a courgette cake last week to use a couple of them ) I suppose cleaning after each person is the problem with the carriage. There was a lady near here who had a double decker but it was repeatably vandalised various locations were tried I think she gave up in the end

I think it's more the closeness together in the carriage and bus Peter. They are having work done to make the train carriage into private sections. Your courgette cake sounds good, as long as you can't taste them too much...not my favourite vegetable! Have a good evening and new week.

A very nice picture, which I had to study for a long time to see what was real and what was a painting. You got your positioning just right!

I had a look at their web site too. Looks a great place to visit.

It will be difficult for them in the coming months as sitting outside becomes less desirable. One restaurant down our way has invested in a whole pile of perspex screen to put between the tables.. Others have simply taped off every other one...

They have done a very good job with this painting. I always stop to look at it.
They are in the process of making individual carriages, as they used to be years ago.
So difficult for restaurants and cafes at the moment. They have to think outside the box and many have come up with unusual solutions.

This looks a very charming place! It's lucky that the weather allows being outside, it's much easier to manage social distancing that way and there's no problem with aerosols.

It was always a favourite of ours when we could eat in the bus or train carriage Gudrun. I feel so sorry for them at this time and we wanted to support them. Hopefully soon it will be back to something like normal.

A truly special place that evokes an ancient but romantic atmosphere that we must not forget. The choice of desserts is also excellent!

Ha ha, yes a great unicorn day!! It was so windy in the field but we were determined to support this lovely cafe. We had to hold everything down...but it was a good laugh :-))
