A lovely shot Rosa. I like the way you used the window to frame and draw attention to the centre of the two cavasses in the centre. The top one in particular looks spectacular. The star of the show as always is young Sophie looking very pretty in pink. I have a scarf just like that in grey. It is lovely you have such a nice relationship with her and can enjoy your days out together

I loved that top picture Carol and the one with Lyme in the snow. Sophie chose that scarf herself a few months ago. Mind you, if there had been one with unicorns on, she might have chosen that! She is wonderful company and gets on so well with adults. Probably because she is an only child. She is also lucky to have such fun parents.

There are some gorgeous photos in the window but Sophie is also pretty gorgeous. I like her scarf too and her purse. Is it a hippo ? They seem to be very popular.

Aw thank you Jean. She is my only grandchild, so you can imagine how much I love her. first of all you see a frog on the purse and then the bigger picture we thought was a giraffe.

A beautiful portrait, so different from the 'formal' ones that used to be taken, possibly wondering how to persuade you to put some money in it !!! It's a nice composition with a point of interest outside and inside. It's nice to photos printed instead of on a screen, but it's expensive unless you have a reason to do it, I had four done for the open exhibition in the Peoples Gallery in Leicester plus mounts of course

It wouldn't take much persuading Peter ;-) Thank you for your kind comments. Yes it can be expensive. I have never done it, but a local independent supermarket asked if they could used a picture of mine that was in their calendar, to enlarge on canvas and use in their cafe. They are going to let me know when it's done. The exhibition is a good idea.

How cute is your Sophie dear Rosa! Think suits her so well! She looks more interested in her new purse for the moment, but I guess she may become a very good photographer like her Grandma! ;-)

I really like this clever composition! It shows the shop window, but Sophie is looking at the bright yellow purse, and hence suggesting we do the same, and you have placed the purse very carefully in the lower right 'rule of thirds' position. It works so well...
