Really nicely composed pair of shots Rosa. I love architecture, not very much of this style in this part of the woods.

Best regards, Doug

Thank you Doug. It's my kind of architecture and Shrewsbury and Ludlow has it in abundance. Not too much of it in my region either. More stone cottages :)

Best regards, Rosa.

Wonderful buildings, sadly not all of them look so good at street level , I hope your Sunday is brighter than the weather Rosalyn

They are wonderful Peter. Many of them are being well looked after though. I think the 1960's and 70's buildings could be improved or better still, demolished. Just been for a very long walk and having a rest now :) Hope you have a good Sunday too.

Beautiful shots. I love these houses with old wooden beams. Scotland doesn't really have them. There's so much stone around the place I suppose it makes sense to build with it. It's the same with brick until recently. Your brick buildings are so beautiful compared to here.

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Jean
Thank you Jean. Shropshire and Herefordshire seem to have an abundance of these Tudor buildings, which I love to see. Each area has its own distinctive style. My sister-in-law comes from Dundee and I loved the differences when visiting there. It makes this island quite unique :)

It's good to see original Tudor buildings still standing (and in full use). There's a lot of "mock" Tudor out there!

Two super images Rosa............with lovely colours and detail.

I couldn't agree with you more Keith. Mind you, I like the mock Tudor better than a lot of modern styles. Thank you for your very kind comments. Have a good new week.

Hi Rosa

A very nice picture of the old Shrewsbury houses, obviously sagging with old age!

The Japanese restaurant sound nice! Did you have to sit on the floor, and be served by geisha waitresses kneeling before you at every opportunity?

Best Wishes, and a good week to come.

Hi Peter,

One of the problems of ageing I'm afraid!!

The Japanese restaurant wasn't quite like that. LOL! The food was very good though.

Best wishes,
Rosa.

I do agree Amelia. A shame about the traffic. There are so many beautiful buildings and little streets all over the town though, and we are still finding them.
