There's no doubt about it, Ludlow is the prettiest town in Shropshire. The town planners have shown much more sympathy with the half-timbered frontages than they have in Shrewsbury don't you think, Rosa?

Yes I have to agree Amelia. I still love Shrewsbury though ;-)) We plan on visiting this year, hopefully in the spring. I really liked Leominster although we had to choose between there and Ludlow to visit before returning home, so only saw it for a few hours on the 9th Dec.

It was nice to be able to take snowy pictures for a change. We had a long drive back home though, so could not stay there too long.

This is ever so pretty in the snow!

It does lend itself very well to snow Gudrun. Although the buildings are much older, it reminds me of the old Victorian Christmas cards :)

I wonder if the new year brings snow to us...we had warm days here..
