The frontage resembles that of Attingham Hall Rosa. Busy gardening since we got back from Anglesey. Our garden was supposed to be in the Yellow Book this year but due to the 'unforeseen circumstances' last May we had to cancel.

Yes it is in the same style but not as big or grand as Attingham Hall. That is a shame about your garden Amelia. I can understand why and there is always next year to look forward to.

An unusual perspective, but it works very well..............even with the bins! Like Janet, I love the natural framing from the tree and the dappled shadows! Beautifully done Rosa.

You need a bit of editing there !!! they would need a lot of brown bins for the garden waste
The front of Calke Abbey is also similar

Got to keep it real Peter! The architecture was very popular at the time and like so many stately homes. Have a good and sunny day!

Hi Rosa,

I think the bins really add something here. They are just noticable, despite being black, and by breaking up the obvious 'country manor' scene, draw attention and focus..
I like it!

Best Wishes
Peter

Hi Peter,

Thank you for that. I might clone out a simple power line if it cuts across a picture, but I am not very good at anything bigger! As I mentioned to Peter C, I do like to keep it real.

Best wishes, Rosa.

Lovely capture of this cracking looking building Rosa. The framing, perspective and illumination display it to great effect. I also like the shadows of the tree in the foreground are a nice touch. At least the bins are not bright blue like our recycling one!

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Doug Shepherd club
Thank you very much Doug. It was a new angle for me, and the dappled sunlight caught my eye more than the bins....thank goodness they were black though! ;-))
