St Michael's Church

St Michael's Church
It was the timeless quality of the village of East Coker that persuaded the poet TS Eliot to immortalise it in his Nobel award-winning Four Quartets. A plaque dedicated to Eliot reads "In my beginning is my end" inside the church, with his ashes.
