Fiddleford Manor House

Fiddleford Manor House
14th century Manor House thought be be built by William Latimer, sheriff of Somerset & Dorset. In the 16th century it passed to Thomas White, a Catholic merchant from Poole. Around the 17th century it belonged to the Freke family whose descendants the Pitt-Rivers own it today. Originally twice this size and was part of what is now the farmhouse next to the Mill. Cared for by English Heritage.
