.. we have a lot in North Carolina, but they are not well-behaved as these ----- ours are very territorial ... you'd think they had no food available! Just about everyone in the neighborhood feeds them ~ silly birds ..

This time of year they squabble but dont break into the fights they will in a couple of months time when the mating hormones kick in !!

You must have a ton of birdfood in your garden but the do provide a lovely splash of colour in the middle of winter. We only get grey pigeons!

I go through about 100 lbs of seed a month.. plus squirrel food and sonme food for the wild animals

I dont have alot of cash to spare.. but I dont buy posh clothes/bags/shoes/drink/smoke/go on holidays......

Quel merveilleux décor dans les arbres ! Ils sont superbes ces oiseaux et bien résistants ! - 14 ! c'est froid ! Ici "seulement" -2 et ça dégèle dans la journée . Mais je ne vois pas d'aussi beaux oiseaux !

It took me a while to see them all. They are very solitary birds where I live. I might see a mating pair, but rarely two males together.
