A good method of making grain silos look interesting. Hope you're having cooler weather now.
HFF and a good weekend.

Our weather in this part of WA hasn't been as extreme as over east. At this time of year it is normally in the high 30s or low 40s anyway so we're rather more used to it. But it has been strange: Sunday had a high of 44; Wednesday was only 24; then today was about 36. By Monday it's due to be back in the 40s. Summer, eh?

There are a number of these decorated silos around Australia, though I've been told these in Northam were the first (in Western Australia at least). There's a Silo Trail in Victoria, I think, and some of the murals are magnificent.

Ours in Northam reflect the fact that our area is famed for its ballooning and gliding.

Amazing! I read about silo painting in the American grain belt a few months ago. Maybe it was this person, I don't know. Found a video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiD6qXf3KZA Turns out the painter is Australian! ;-)
