Twist

Twist
My wife (She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed; Light of my Life, Bane of my Existence; the keeper of the privy credit card) tells me this isn’t really a fence, but is a mere railing or banister. Pshaw, what does she know of such technical things? She may know hosts of vitally important things such as the script of every romantic comedy of the last 20 years, lyrics from hundreds of 1980s pop hits and the location of every t-shirt and pair of socks that I possess, but she is clueless as to the difference between a fence and a railing … AND she takes milk in her coffee. Uurgh! And speaking of which, time for a long black.

This is a fence.

HFF everyone, and may your weekend be joyful, fruitful, enjoyment-ful and full of everything else that you desire.

Hi John!
HFF !!
Well:usually, not always!!!, I agree with women and their points of view .. but in this case I want to be diplomatic, even if my character is not all!
In italy we say: non mettere il dito tra moglie e marito!! :-))) = more or less 'don't interfere with husband and wife.;-)
So: yes, at the same time, it can be a railing but with the fence function! Absolutely !!
I really like the structure and your compositional idea and realization!

have a lovely weekend !

Got to agree with that Old Owl. But if you want to be an even older owl you had better watch out what you say about your wife. .. My kind of picture here, as you will now know too. Love these curves and the almost mono effect here. In a group where a piece of string can be regarded as a fence, this ranks pretty perfect as a real fence to me (although I might well call it a railing if I was on it too :) ) ☼ awarded, congrats.

HFF and have a great weekend, Her

Tell your better half that in order to accommodate the numerous translations if it stops you falling off or keeps you out it's a FENCE :)))) definitely black and as for the weird and wonderful things people put on coffee :(((( HFF and a nice weekend

May your weekend be interesting, positive and enjoyable. And be thankful for railings and fences which prevent sinister and incapacitating events from occurring.

I will settle for "fence" in this instance and hope that it is stopping people from getting too close to the building as it seems the side of the place is about to fall off !!

Under normal circumstances I''d call this a railing but for the purposes of the group it definitely qualifies as a fence:-)
The cracks add some anarchy to all the perfect lines and curves.

A brave man indeed, going by the caption, John. :-) No question it's a fence! A rather belated HFF and hope your weekend is going well.
