Hi Pam, it's Rotherhithe. Jubilee Line, I think.

Moody! Looks like a setting from a Cold War spy movie, or something--

Hi Old Owl,

A superb capture of the London Underground here. It does have such a cold look to it.
I really like this kind of night shot, especially this one!

Best Wishes, and a good weekend,
Peter

Excellent. Long time since I've been on the tube (2009 probably).
Rosa's comment of 'Mind the gap' brings to mind the Madrid metro announcements over the PA;
(I translate) "This train will shortly be approaching the next station. The station platforms are on a curve. On exiting the carriage, please ensure that you do not place your foot between the train and the platform"
I explain to my (adult Business English) students that 'mind the gap' is much simpler and clearer. They disagree; "But you have to give this information otherwise it can be misinterpreted"
Hmmm. I teach them to write business reports, make Power point presentations and write English style e-mails; in other words to reduce the content by more than 75%! It's a struggle but they get it in the end!
Apologies to any Spaniard reading this. Observation, not criticism!
