Swell Woods

Swell Woods
Swell Woods is an RSPB nature site on the escarpment southwest of the Somerset levels. Yesterday's walk didn't give me the colours I was looking for but the signs of colours to come and dappled sunlight were very pleasing.

It was a great relief to be able to take LWD walking for the first time in ten days following her bout of severe gastroenteritis last week.

Yes, really beautiful sunlight........and there are some pleasing autumn colours in some of the oak leaves.........as you said, there will be more to come soon. A delightful image Maggie.

I'm afraid I had no idea that you had been ill.........but I'm glad to hear that you're better now and I bet LWD was chuffed as well.

Note the HER gastroenteritis - my bank account would’ve been much less damaged had it been me. LWD is chuffed that SHE is better, she was an extremely poorly pup, I was merely a nervous wreck

So pleased to read that LWD is better now. The expense is crippling, but we do it because we love them! Even with the lack of colour you have taken a beautiful picture Maggie. I love oak leaves and the sunlight shining through is gorgeous.
