They certainly are.............and they don't seem to be afraid. Glad you like the photos Judite and thanks for your nice comments.

The crab spider certainly is well camouflaged on your pretty flower Keith. You did well to spot it. A superb macro with the beady little eyes seeming to be quite happy for you to take the photo!

The spider in your PiP looks less happy and seems to be warning you off! Another great shot though Keith. Last night I caught a rather large black spider in my living room....I'm afraid it had to go outside! I am happy to see them outdoors but not indoors ;-))

Thank you very much Rosa................they tend to stay on the same flower for days at a time, so once you've found one it makes it easier the second time round!

Yes, the one in the PiP seemed quite annoyed.......and was definitely trying to make itself look bigger and more threatening, which made for a more interesting shot.

I'm not too fond of the large house spiders either............they move too fast for me!

I find with the house spiders, if you clap your hand they immediately stand still and it gave me time to get a glass and coaster for its trip outside!!

I'll try that advice..........but I find screaming like a little girl works as well :-)))

I'm surprised that you managed to see that spider against the yellow flower! Two very fine shots.

It's lucky that these spiders seem to stay on the same flower for days at a time. Once you find it the first time, it's usually easy to find it again! Glad you like both images and thank you very much Eunice.
