I'm a Philistine, for some unknown reason I suddenly envisioned this stunning flower standing in an old fashioned milk bottle; probably shouldn't have told you that. I'll start again.

Ha, ha. Actually it was standing in a little round vase to get the shot, so you weren't far off the mark.

I've got few more to show yet.........I was bored yesterday afternoon and so I got the macro lens out and found several flowers and other bits to photograph. I just use a bit of card as a background and natural light from the window. It passed the time nicely :-)

What a beautiful photo, Keith. The flower is exceptional. It's a good idea to bring the flower indoors so you can get a beautiful picture like this.

Grateful thanks Jenny...........glad you like it. If it's the slight bit windy, is much easier to get a good macro shot of flowers by taking them indoors. I only do it if there a plenty of flowers on the plant though!
