Well spotted and well composed! That's quite a mixture of styles from the elegant Georgian building on the left to the utilitarian yellow brick on the right. The mural looks hypermodern in contrast:-)

Thank you for the title, or I might not have worked the words out, but I like the style they are written in. The building on the left is very elegant but they don't have a great view. I love the contrasts and as always, find your picture very interesting.

I really miss the big department stores Keith, although they were rather expensive. I noticed Beale's of Bournemouth was looking sad and empty!

The walls and alley ways behind the store is where most of the street art has been "allowed" to exist by the council. I suspect they will want to clean it up once the demolition work and new build begins :-(

I do like most graffiti. But I always think that someone should invent an app to make those stylised letters legible to those of us too old to have picked up the ability ourselves. :)

More and more street art everywhere, I even have a friend who is part of a group who travels everywhere worldwide just to take photos of street art and share them on instagram. There are even some "games of clues" with the purpose of taking maximum pictures of certain artists. I don't really understand the goal but the most important is that they do...

There is certainly a lot about in Southsea, where in certain places the council turns a blind eye to it, provided it is done well. It's a very popular subject for photography and there are some amazing artists out there.

I don't think I'd ever take it as seriously as the people who play the "games of clues" you mention though :-)

Die Wandgemälde sind das Beste, was dieser Mauer passieren konnte. Ich mag besonders den abstrakten linken Teil. Interessant ist auch das Umfeld, das ich so nicht erwartet hätte.

Ok...der Schriftzug ist ungewöhnlich und ob Feng Shui am Straßenrand funktioniert, ist auch nicht gewiss, aber Du hast mal wieder etwas Aussergewöhnliches entdeckt :)
