Keith, I think you suspect by now that I am not a true lover of street art! However I must make an acceptation to this. A wonderful piece of real art here. I salute the artist and you for taking such a nice copy of it here. Well done. ⭐

Keep safe. Herb

Thanks Herb.............he's a very talented artist and well known in these parts.

Funnily enough, I'd spotted this one about 3 weeks beforehand and was unable to get a shot as there was a huge lorry parked in front of it. I went back a few days later and although the lorry was gone, the artwork had been painted over. About a week after that, I noticed that it had been repainted with exactly the same motif.........and this time I managed to get a shot..!!

I like this artwork Keith. It's the artist who paints the beautiful eyes!! I wonder when it was painted! It seems to have a special significance now, at least, the way I read it.
His book is expensive but I bet it's worth having. Maybe I should put it on my Christmas list ;-))

Me too Eunice.............I think he's brilliant and tenacious (see my reply to Herb above). It does seem to be quite topical, and I guess it must have been painted in the run up to the current invasion of Ukraine.

I've only seen his book online...............but yes, it's very expensive. You should start dropping hints soon to give someone a chance to start saving up :-))

This is kind of a dystopian Olympic symbol. Also, the artists name is great! Superb find, Keith!

Es ist erstaunlich, wie aus einem Provisorium ein Kunstwerk entsteht. Es ist das Beste, was dieser tristen Fläche passieren konnte.

I agree............well executed street art really brighten up dull and scruffy areas. Glad you like this one.
