Hello Keith, HBM. I tried some candid shots recently but never feel happy with the results you seen to be more successful

I don't take as many as I used to, but it's just a case of finding someone doing something interesting...........or telling a story. You also have to be a bit bold about it........and not worry too much about being seen.

I delete more than I share Colin.

Go on Keith -I will try to believe that this is a candid shot but there are just too many perfect elements for that coincidence.
a) The red bag -in the perfect position and distance from the sitter
b) The white top, all blending perfectly with the white flowers. (of course to go with the white hand-bag too)
c) All perfectly framed with this tree p.o.v in thirds

Right place right time..........I actually did a couple of circuits of the park. When I first noticed her she was talking on the phone so I waited until the second time round and luckily, she was either listening to music or deep in thought.........so I grabbed a shot. I'm pretty sure she noticed me, but she didn't say anything.

(I couldn't pay her too much attention...........my wife was sitting on the next bench along reading her book).

Vermutlich wartet sie auf ihren Prinzen. Derweil hört sie, in Gedanken versunken, Musik aus dem Ohrstöpsel. Eine tolle Aufnahme!

Je partage totalement l'avis de "devinettes" (ou "herbe" ?) Cette photo m'a l'air trés travaillée. Tout est parfait dans la pose de cette jeune fille. Allez Keith, dis nous franchement le temps que tu as passé à organiser cette scène ? Ou bien, cette jeune fille a pris la pose instantanément en voyant ton objectif... mais alors, c'est un pur génie. There's a poem about a young lady of Chichester and the bishop. This is an interesting variation on frame-within-a-frame composition. The tree and its branches actually manage to create tension with the dazzling young woman. A very difficult feat to achieve, but nothing defeats our plucky photographer.

Thanks John.........I cropped afterwards to get the right framing........and to get rid of some distracting foliage. I was lucky with the pose.
