Great textures in the brick wall Keith. I suppose these seats would generally be in use! The garden looks lovely. I have only been to Chichester once. It's another that's on my list!

Thank Rosa. You're right about the seats, the gardens are only a stone's throw from the city centre and would normally be full of people reading newspapers and having lunch or even snoozing! Fortunately, on this day the seats (which have a plastic coating), were still quite wet from an earlier shower!

Ich glaube von Bishop's Palace Garden habe ich schon gehört. Bei uns im TV kommt am Wochenende immer eine Ratgebersendung für Gärtner. Die hatten mal einen Besuch da und es wurde etwas gezeigt. - Nachträglich noch HBM: ;-)

You're probably right Frank..........I believe this place has been on quite a few TV gardening shows! It's a beautiful and well looked after place............and still free to visit..!!
