Gorgeous, perfect light for this serene place. I see they have thick cushions - more churches should do that!

It really is a superb interior shot Keith, and no one to spoil it! I like your framing with the kneeling cushions (?) either side, and the ceiling and stained glass window are beautiful! You have achieved perfect symmetry, which is always very pleasing to the eye.

Have a good week ahead Keith.

Thank you everyone for you lovely comments. I was quite pleased with this one because I didn't have a tripod with me............I had to balance the camera on the chair and used the timer to initiate the shutter.

Thanks Tanja..........but I try not to get down on my knees nowadays..........because it's quite likely I won't be able to get up again :-))

A great capture my friend. Always a job getting these interiors just right. My answer, at least with the lighting, is to usually do a HDR shot, but as you say above and know from experience, slow shutters speeds can also muck things up for you. The other problem with high church roofs and walls when taken with wide angle lens is perspective distortion where all the walls seems to bend backwards. You seemed to have done a good job against all problems here. Well done.

Regards, Herb
Oh -a fine church it is too....

Thanks Herb. I was lucky in that this church has a lot of natural light and it was very sunning outside. A bit of judicious processing sorted out the rest :-))

Thanks for dropping by and commenting..............I always value your views.
