This lovely old building is a former military barracks, built in 1846, and Grade II listed. It was decommissioned in 1969 and is now used by Portsmouth University. It also houses the Portsmouth Register Office.

A beautiful and substantial building with a lovely sky both very well captured Keith, we had a building just like this which was originally a hospital but vandels from the local council allowed it to be demolished. the site is now a low cost supermarket. Thank you for the interesting link!

Man sieht dem Gebäude die militärische Herkunft an, alles sehr geradlinig und streng. Aber die Ziegelmauern harmonieren sehr gut mit den weißen Fenstern.
