What a beauty this is. Thank you for remembering and posting it. The colour is exquisite and the dark green of the background sets it off beautifully. I like the crumpled shapes the petals make and the long curling stamens. So graceful.

It's so pretty Keith. I remember the link picture very well. The crumpled appearance is is very pretty and looks lovely against the blurred background. Guernsey Lily sounds like an old Variety Theatre singer! ;-))

Thanks Rosa. I love the idea of a Variety Theatre singer called Guernsey Lily................when I was part of the Naval Patrol in Portsmouth in the 70's there was a "lady" called Pompey Lil, but I'm pretty sure she wasn't a singer :-))
