Die Stämme der Nadelbäume sehen aus wie Säulen, die ein Dach tragen. Und gleichzeitig erkennt man die Auswirkungen der Monokultur. Am Boden gibt es kaum Lebensraum für andere Pflanzen. Wegen der Hitze und Trockenheit der letzten Jahre sind besonders Fichten gestresst und können sich nicht mehr gegen den Borkenkäfer wehren. Große Nadelwaldbestände, sogar ganze Wälder sind in Deutschland bereits abgestorben. Ursache ist der Klimawandel und die unökologische Anpflanzung dieser Wälder.
Trotz alledem eine beeindruckende Aufnahme, Keith!

Thank you Wilhelm. The Fores of Bere used to be uninterrupted forest but is now a mix of woodland, open space, ponds, streams, heathland and farmland. The coniferous trees are a very small part of it.
